In the Business Game, all the groups start with the same conditions and, over six rounds,  have to make a series of decisions concerning production planning, purchasing, R&D, marketing and distribution.  At the end of every round, the sales figures and the financial situation of the firms are newly calculated. At the end, the group which achieves the highest average share price wins. The share market is relentless; any wrong decisions are punished immediately.

After a good start for all of companies, first trends could be seen in the numbers. All companies presented uninspiring marketing plans, with no overall winner. From period 2 onwards, companies fell back through simple oversights. Two companies were unable to recover from these mistakes.

sPrint was able to defend their number one positon throughout period 2 to 6 and nearly made it top of the All Time High League. Maybe an entry into the Budget market would have made the difference.
