Application Workflow and Semester Timeline
The timeline below provides an overview of the application workflow for exchange students and important dates throughout the semester.
Semester Dates and Deadlines
Summer Semester 2024 (Starting in March)| 2023 | |
| November | - Nov. 1.: Nomination Deadline
- Nov. 15: Online application Deadline.

| December | - December 01: Student dormitory application deadline.
- Your Letter of Acceptance will be issued and sent to you or your home university.
- By end of the month: information on documents required for completion of exchange student enrolment will be sent to you.
- Information on course selection.

| January | - By end of the month: Student housing associations will send accommodation offers to applicants. If you have not received an accommodation offer by beginning of February, please contact Nadja Lobensteiner.

| February | - February 1: Deadline for submission of Health insurance certificate.
- February 15: Deadline for submission of preliminary course selection.
|
March | - March 01: Earliest possible arrival date. Please note: Moving into your dormitory room is generally not possible on weekends.
- Orientation day, completion of exchange student enrolment. Date tba. Further information here
- March 11: Start of lectures.

May | - Exam registration period. Date tba.
|
| July | - End of lecture period. Date tba.
- Exam period. Date tba.
|
| August | - Beginning of the month: Grades will be available via the HIP platform.
- End of the semester.

- July 31: Deadline for submission of 1. health insurance certificate, 2. enrollment form and 3. proof of payment of semester fee
